Overview
IOTlab is the it4e product and service division for process data acquisition and control via the internet. IOTlab comprises modular hard- and software components which we can offer as cost-saving standard packages or compose individual configurations adjusted to special customer demands.
User Interface
With WebControlPanel, we develop a web application which enables the users to access their process data directly from anywhere in the world, and to share the data simply and comfortably in workings groups. The WebControlPanel project is supported by the European Union as trendsetting high-tech research project.
Process Data Acquisition and Control
The acquisition and control of the process data is realized by a control unit. By analog or digital interfaces, sensors and devices can be connected directly to the control unit. Alternatively, by using industry-established interfaces, the data can be transmitted via an existing network.
Data Storage
The measurement and control data can be stored directly on the control unit and be transmitted via the in-house network or the worldwide internet on the end devices. Alternatively, the data can be stored on a cloud server from where they are further processed.
Scalable, fail-safe and cost-effective services from various cloud providers are available for storing and processing data in the cloud.
